I have a Samsung refrigerator that has a frozen-up ice maker and which has led to the refrigerator not going below 50 degrees. I have been messing with this for over a year. I have called Samsung and done everything they have told me to try...twice. This is exasperated by the fact that they do not have service in my area so cannot send anyone. The other issue, which I realize is a personal one, it is at a river house 100 miles from where I live so it has been hard to follow its temperature variants. And then there has been the pandemic! They found me a repair company- Sears-- which last fall gave me an appointment 4 weeks later only to drive the 100 miles and get a message 2 hours into the service window that it had been cancelled and wanted to reschedule for the day before Thanksgiving. So that didn't work. Finally got back on it this summer-- again they found me someone who could come-- waited a week-- they came , gave me the estimate to fix the frog-- $1350-- I paid $1329 for it originally. So far Samsung has called me back every time they said they would-- I am waiting for the next call promised--they have 24 more hours to comply so I will see. Thus far they have told me I can have it fixed on my own since they haven't any repair folks in my area. Certainly am feeling highjacked. I will keep pressing them.
