Samsung's customer service is very disappointing to say the least. Me and my family have been a loyal Samsung customer for a very long time. We buy the latest Samsung phones every year a new one comes and also we own many appliances. I just recently sent off a Samsung A6 tablet to repair a defective finger print scanner that I did not know about until I removed the glass screen protector that I put on first thing I opened the box when this product was purchased. Long story short, sent the device in and when I got it back it was in worse shape then when it was sent in. The device came back 10 days later then promised and in a box bigger then the tablet which the device was not secured within. I can imagine how banged up the internal components might be during the transportation process. It was also dirty with finger prints and grime. When turning on the device and checking the finger print scanner to input my prints it did the same thing of not reading the fingers and only allowed me to get up to 41% just once. Most of the the reads quit before 20%. Anyways, I called in to get help and it took over 5 days on multiple calls and having to repeat myself 5 times with 5 different person before getting a hold of a rep in case management. His name is Duma, employee#1181, a careless worker whose in upper management that could have been more considerate and sympathetic to my ordeal but instead just decided to follow protocol and gave me the take it or leave it approach. After having so much time wasted and being transferred to different department over the course of this process I realized Samsung poor treatment of their customers. They only care of making the sale and because this experience, I will not support Samsung and buy any future products from them. I always pick up two new flagship phones every year for the last 6 to 7 years and have washers and dryer, refrigerators, stove, and multiple TVs. They will not earn a penny from me anymore and I will tell friends and family to steer clear.
