The Dollar General on Barefoot Bay Blvd in Micco Fl has the most miserable employees I have ever incountered. Although they are polite every time I see them at the register, and I'm there 2-3 times a week, the manager ( in his 50s) and cashier, 33 I think, are always complaining. Always. I heard the manager once yell at a lady 15 minutes before closing that she better hurry up he worked a 9 hour shift. She said ok I'm just grabbing a couple things. I was ahead of her in line and they had us out the door 6 minutes before closing. When asking ( both grown men by the way) the cashier how are you? Instead of the appropriate good how are you response, it's always " Better when I get out of here. I've worked retail and as a cashier before. It's work but not that bad! These two guys act like they're dying. Very unprofessional. They always make you feel like a burden. And the 50-100$ I spend almost every week helps pay their bills. Long gone is the male generation of my father and uncles who NEVER complained about work. My father installed air conditioners for 40 years and would take a call at 9:00 at night if needed. Never heard a boo hoo. This is why I'm 40, never been married or had children. So many men don't want to work and the ones that do are too selfish to dream of having a family. Bunch of baby's. To all the good ones that are taken I hope you're wives appreciate you. Sorry just had to vent for a sec ?
