I received a $1 broken jump rope. It was unopened, I sat on hold to have it replaced. I was told I could get a replacement or refund, I told them I wanted the item. She asked if I wanted to just go buy it at their store. No. The next day it was shipped out and they billed my credit card $8 in shipping for an item that was clearly sent broken from the warehouse (the handle was cracked all the way down the side). Now I get to sit on hold again, after they open for their four hour customer service window that is. My first and likely last Party City order. I know it sucks to eat the shipping cost, but that item was never checked over as it was an obvious defect. Do better.
