I purchased a refrigerator from Samsung. Four months later the freezer went out and all my food spoiled. They tried to repair it three times as each time it was repaired, a month or two later the freezer went out again. I requested a new refrigerator. Since they could not issue a refund for 7-15 business days, Samsung told me I could purchase a new refrigerator and submit a request for cash refund. I ordered a new refrigerator (not Samsung brand). Lowe's delivered it and picked up my defective refrigerator. Originally, Samsung said all they needed from me was my original invoice when I purchased their refrigerator which I submitted. After Lowe's picked up the defective refrigerator, I get a text from Samsung that I need to remove the S/N label from old refrigerator. I explained I no longer have it. They told me I should have held on to it but since I didn't, they cannot issue my $2000 refund. They told me to call Lowe's and see if they can ship it back to me! What!!! I called Lowe's but it was already salvaged. I had talked to three different customer service reps before I placed an order for new refrigerator and no one told me I had to hold onto defective refrigerator. I have now filed a complaint with the BBB. I will never buy another Samsung product. I don't have room here to list all my contacts with them and the poor customer service I received.
