Buyer beware! I purchased 2 items online that HD did not carry in the store. Store employee said to order online. The items did not work and I returned them. Only to hear that HD has or is implementing a restocking fee. When I protested about this policy NOT being disclosed upfront, was told it was on the website, they did waive it this time however. So here I am looking for it and I can not find it in HD return policies. Not sure what the local store or HD corporate is trying to pull on unsuspecting consumers. But I told the return desk employee that I would no longer be ordering from HD. Lots of times used HD because I could pick it up at local store, but there are other retailers that want the business more than HD apparently does.
