Bought new appliances at Home Depot in the Clinton Iowa Store on August 6th, 2019. they were delivered damaged and sent back. The delivery person filled out a damage report, called the store to inform them of the damage and told me to take it to home depot for a refund which by the way i paid with cash. I go to the HOME DEPOT store the next morning and am told i can not get a refund until they received the damage report from the warehouse when by the way they have from the delivery people from that warehouse. Needless to say i was told to wait 7-10 days for a report of damage which i did. I called several times to the store to see if the report was back and was told no. I then call corporate after 30 minutes being connected to 3 other people was told the paper work has been at the store for a week now. They say give them this code to verify i talked to corporate. I do as I am told this morning and this so called manager tells me i can not get a refund even tho i had receipt, damage report and they had the paperwork from the warehouse saying damaged items were there. This so called manager says I need to wait an additional 21 days to get a check from corporate. In the meantime i am sitting her almost a month with no stove, no fridge and no washer/dryer and NO REFUND.. Please think twice about buying from HOME DEPOT. Getting a lawyer involved in the morning.
