Went to local DG and made a $40+ purchase on my way out of town. When I got to my destination, I went to put some candles I purchased into the xmas bags I purchased and realized I had several missing items. Called the store and the bag had been left on the bag stall. Mgr. said he would put it in the office for me to pick up later. Went in later, they couldn't find the bag. Went in again, mgr. not there, no one else knew about it. 3rd trip, mgr pulls it down from over the register. I explain I no longer need the items, would like a refund. He tells me to get in line...my turn, the first thing he says is are you mad? I said no, he says good, cause we didn't do anything wrong... wrong attitude. he then tells me everything is 1/2 price. I had my receipt, it had only been 9 days since I purchased the items. I told him there policy is full price with receipt within 30 days...he says he cant do it because they are ringing up 1/2 price. I again said I wanted a full refund. He said he would have to ring the refund twice to do this ??? then he rings up a pepsi that wasn't mine trying to make the numbers match... he hands me a dollar more than what my refund was, and says here, you made some money off of it. I put the dollar on the counter and told him I wasn't out to make money, just get back what I had spent. He followed me out of the store loudly stating he couldn't keep the $1 several times. I told him to give it to the cashier as a tip...for nothing. PLEASE...TRAIN your employees on your POLICY, RESPECT for customers, and USE OF THE CASH REGISTER!!!
