I booked a flight + car bundle from Expedia. When I went to pick up the car from Hertz, they had the reservation but said I needed a "travel voucher code" to complete my reservation. The reservation was already paid online, and Expedia never sent me any sort of code. I got an Expedia rep on the phone while I waited at the Hertz counter and neither company could resolve it. I ended up cancelling with Expedia and was told I'd receive a full refund since Hertz couldn't honor the reservation. I'm still waiting for the refund. This was July 25th. I've had to call 5 times to finally speak to a supervisor, who assured me my refund had already been done and tried to tell me my bank must've been holding the money. My bank wasn't. I called again, and then received an email saying they had forwarded the refund to their corporate office. That was on August 8th. I still haven't heard anything. I will NEVER book anything with them again!
