Our flight was cancelled due to bad weather and with 2 connecting flights we couldnt wait in an enormous queue at Heathrow so booked a replacement flight ourselves at great expense (3 tickets to Cape Town). We were sent a text by Lufthansa asking if we wanted to cancel our booking and this cancelled our return flights as well. After numerous phone calls Expedia have agreed to return the cost of our flights in full but I lost my debit card in the meantime and now they are saying they cannot return the money because the card doesnt exist anymore although I have replaced it with a different card number. I would be interested to know whether anybody else has had this experience with replacement cards.<br /> I will NEVER use Expedia again although will keep trying to get our money back. However reading all of these complaints it seems this will never happen. It ruined what should have been a holiday of a lifetime.
