Best Western and Expedia, the dark menace. WOW! What a nightmare, got a room at Best Western, Radford VA and the nightmare began. The place was under construction and the smell of fresh latex paint combined with the removal of musty old carpet gave me a splitting headache. After 2 nights I couldn't take it anymore and went to the front desk to let the girl know that I would be checking out the next morning. She kind of waived her finger at the keyboard and said she would input for me, then went back to talking to her boyfriend. Knowing that I hadn't got through, I stopped back at the desk in the morning to let them know I was checking out. The GM (found out later that's who it was) was at the front along with the same girl from the evening before. See ya...no problem.... Then my office notifies me that BW wouldn't refund, pushed it off on Expedia saying there was nothing to stop them from refunding. Let the gerbil wheel begin. Call to BW Customer service. Ok, we'll call you back, never did. I call again, BW front desk has cooked up a story, OH, Yeah, we moved him to another room, blah blah blah...more lies. End story they say they aren't going to help me, not their problem. Horrible people at Best Western Radford VA. No customer service, no ethics, nasty people, nasty place. <br /> Many more details but the bottom line is no one is accountable once they get your money. Will try to mediate through credit card but they are probably in bed with the crooks too. Yes, I know, they have POLICIES, they are still nasty.
