I've just read through the comments about Expedia and think how lucky I am that they've only charged me incorrectly for one flight. Other people on this list have been seriously ripped off by this sham of a company. On 19/4/16 I tried to book a ticket from Sydney to melbourne for my son and found Expedia had the best price. I'd never booked anythign through them before but I put all my details and credit details to pay for the ticket and pressed go. They came back and apologised and said the price of the ticket had increased $10, alam bells were ringing but it was still quite cheap so I said OK and pressed Go again. They then came back and said the price had gone up another $10. I wanted to cancel but needed that ticket so I said OK let's just purchase it and pressed Go again. They then came back and said there was an error processing my purchase and payment and I should try again in a few minutes which I did. They then came back and said they were having more problems and I should try again later. I logged off from this awful company and then went online and booked the flight directly with Jetstar at the same price that Expedia had finished up at. So I didn't book the flight with Expedia at all, but on checking my credit card the next day I noticed they'd charged me $10 four times. So no ticket just a $10 charge 4 times and I now can't contact anyone at Expedia to get the money back. My name is Sean Glasson . I implore you, do not use Expedia. They are not a trust worthy company and will rip you off. I will be writing to the ACCC to report them and try and have them shut down. Awful, awful company. Spend extra to work with a reputable company, do not use expedia, they cannot be trusted.
