Ladies and gentlemen. Im an assistant manager for the dollar general corporation. We CANNOT do returns or exchanges on any tobacco product or alcohol product no matier when it was purchased. If returning an item or items totaling $10 or more we do have to ask for an I.D and phone number otherwise we can't continue with the return or exchange. Seasonal items: if we no longer sell them, we can't take them back, (So I was told). No receipt: money goes on a gift card at the ring up price no matter what you originally paid for.
