I booked, and paid ,for a flight through expedeia.co.nz from Bangkok to New Zealand for me and my girlfriend (a Chinese national). She was later refused a visa to New Zealand. My ticket said in the case of a visa refusal I would be entitled to a full refund. Expedia requested proof of the visa refusal, which I sent. Later they said it would take 12 weeks to get the money from the airline. When I rang after 12 weeks they said another 3 weeks, when I rang after that they stalled again. Shocking service! I consider the contract is between Expedia and I and I shouldn't have to wait for the airline... but then I think they are lying about that anyway and just don't want to honour the refund. Never again use Expedia!
