I was assured by the Expedia website, by a live-chat agent, and by my confirmation email that I could cancel my trip within 24 hours for a full refund.<br /> <br /> The instructions on how to cancel were all false.<br /> &quot;To cancel your flight booking<br /> Sign in to view your bookings.<br /> In Upcoming, select the itinerary you wish to cancel.<br /> Select Cancel Flight under Manage Booking. If the option to cancel is not available, please contact us.&quot;<br /> The option is not available.<br /> Neither is it available on the automated phone system.<br /> I've been calling customer support all today, been on hold 2 hours, spoken only to 1 person who immediately connected me to someone else who put me on hold again.<br /> The phone callback system never calls back; they said they would call back within 38 minutes, and that was 6 hours ago.
