My sister passed away and I had made a reservation through Expedia. However, I had to contact the customer service rep to let Expedia know that I had to change the day I was flying out. The customer service rep told me I was within the time frame to dance and would be refunded. So, I cancelled my flights and received an email informing me that I would be refunded for the purchase of both flight amounts within 1-3 business days. I just got back from the funeral and noticed I had not received my refund so I called Expedia Customer Service and was told that the Airlines were requiring that I provide a copy of my sisters death certificate. Really Expedia. I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. Shame on you.
