I bought my moms flight ticket through Expedia and needed to make a flight name change due to an error of mine. According to Volaris' website I am allowed to do so with a fee attached. The problem is EXPEDIA DOES NOT REQUIRE YOU TO INPUT A DATE OF BIRTH so when I spoke to Volaris representative (twice) they could NOT help me because the DOB did not match. There isn't a DOB that will match because I never input one!!! I tried to do a web check in on Volaris and I am no longer able to do anything online. I can't check her in or anything.

I have now been waiting for the Expedia "representative", who said he'd try to call Volaris directly, for 48 minutes and counting
I don't think he's actually contacting them. I've already called Volaris and gotten through to a rep., twice.

Expedia failed by not providing the date of birth option, which is how Volaris confirms & verifies passenger information. I told the Volaris rep that they're isn't a birthdate added because it isn't part of Expedia's online purchase process. They said that due to the confidentiality of the important information they're just allowed to tell me that the DOB does not match but he can neither deny nor confirm IF there even is a date of birth attached to the passenger.

52 mins and counting

Expedia & Volaris (two companies taking advantage of their customers) I will no longer support either company & will advise family and friends to shop else where

54 minutes
