I made reservations for two rooms for two separate nights - Sept. 16 and Sept. 26. in Enola, Pa. After going over the confirmations sent via e-mail, I found that they were not as expressed on the phone. In all I received 6 different e-mails after calling for an explanation. I also found that the charges had already been deducted from my credit card even though I was assured that the charges would be held until arrival. I immediately called to cancel out the reservations, and asked for a confirmation of the cancellations. I received my monthly bank statement. The charges were charged and they removed, but they is a charge of $67.37 that I can get explained. I have made four calls and all I get is a recorded message that does not address my concern. I HAVE $67.37 CHARGE THAT SHOULD NOT BE THERE AND I WANT IT REPLACED INTO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. I am now penning a letter to the Dept. of Consumer Affairs. I want the $67.39 restored to my checking account. If Expedia picks up this message, I hope that they have enough integrity to check into this. I am out $67.39 and will not put this away until I get it restored to my checking account. How Expedia stays in business treating customers this way is beyond me.
