I have been on the phone for over 3 hours trying to get a refund. I cant fly per my dr because i went into preterm labor. I am on bedrest now and can not fly or actually do anything til after i give birth and of course my daughter is healthy and strong. They.first said it wasnt considered a emergency, blamed delta for the non refund, then i called delta they were very understanding documented all my info from my dr and said they could refund me just that expedia will have to call and give exact amt and so forth. I cal exp back they say that delta has no rwcord of me callind no documentation nothing. Then they say i can have a.partial refund minus the 800$ fee for canceling. Me going into labor at 21 weeks was out of my control me having surgery to close my cervix and being on bedrest is out of my control. My family have been looking forward planning and saving for this trip to see my husbands parents. We are already going through enough why are they making it so hard. Then the exp agent says that the fee isnt charged to us by delta but delta is charging exp so exp is taking it from.our refund.. wth??? Wow is that ethical... nope shame on them. The agent told me to call the corporate office to speak to someone because she cant do anything. So there is someone who can????
