I broke a leg while travelling, and had to cancel a flight booked through Expedia. When back in the US, I experienced terrible service by Expedia. I had to call Expedia three times, spent a long time on hold, and got confusing and misleading information. When I was finally provided the information on what Expedia needs, I sent an email to Expedia and the airline carrier. I got immediate confirmation of email receipt by the carrier, but no confirmation from Expedia. Have they received my email? I am very disappointed by the service I got from Expedia. In addition to dealing with the medical issue, that is painful enough, I am very upset that I need to deal with this poor service. For comparison, I had to cancel another flight, booked directly with the carrier, and it took one short call and a quick email to resolve it and get the refund process going. Expedia, take note!
