Expedia has the absolute worst customer service I have encountered in over 40 years of travel.I booked a trip to frankfurt over Philadelphia with my husband through Expedia. 1 month later we were notified that our trip from Pittsburgh to Philadelphia was canceled. Expedia tried to re-rout us through Dalles, a 9 hour add onto the 13 hour trip. Since we are elderly, we refused. No other option was offered but the option to cancel.We tried, after hours of waiting on the phone for supervisors, months of waiting and talking, the trip is still not canceled and the charges are now 3 months later being disputed by our credit card company.Expedia refused to deal with us because the main leg of the trip was with British Air.BA in turn refuses to resolve the problem because it was booked with Expedia.Where does this leave the customer? Help!We also purchased an Expedia insurance for $96, apparently a fraudulent product that does not cover when the airline cancels the route. I am extremely disappointed with their service!
