Please find details regarding the return and refund policies for PETCO below. We encourage you to leave a comment regarding your experience requesting a return or refund from PETCO so others can benefit from what you learned.

PETCO Return Policy

Customers can return items in stores or via mail that were purchased online at Petco.com. All returns must be made within 45 days of purchase to receive a refund in the form of the original payment method. Any returns after the 45 day window will result in the issuance of an online gift certificate for Petco.com. Orders placed through third parties or paid for with Bill Me Later or PayPal will be refunded for a store credit. When items are returned to the store, a customer needs to go online and print a "returns to store receipt" to take to the store.

Customers also have the option to return items by mail. The packing slip should be included along with the reason for the return. If an item was shipped incorrectly, damaged, or defective in any way, Petco will cover the shipping costs for customers. Otherwise, the customer is responsible for the shipping costs.

PetCo apparently has only a 30 day return policy. Remember this when you have the option of buying from Chewy or Petco.

Still waiting for a refund. I've tried multiple times to get my money back. I get messages such as "we can't confirm you returned the items." I have proof of everything. Just such a waste of time and effort!!! Now I'm on hold for over 20 minutes trying AGAIN to get my refund!

I printed off my receipt online and I returned it with the items a very rude young man at the register in Avon Connecticut refused to give me my money back he would not explain why he just said I'm giving you a merchandise credit. and I am not happy as it was a lot of money. I've had problems with this Petco store in Avon Connecticut in the past regarding their grooming facility. If this is the way they are then I will wait and I will order extra dog food when it comes in because it's out of stock at their store and online I will get the rest of it and I will never go back in that store again. When I brought my new puppy in to attempt to get a collar and asked if someone could help me I was told just go here or go there and the guy walked away so they don't seem to really care one way or the other and now I can't even get my money back. Poor customer service.

I ordered 2 Honest Kitchen Cod skins Ocean Chews and an Honest Kitchen Cod Crisp on 1/07/2022 to be delivered by Door Dash. When The order was delivered it was missing one Cod skins Ocean Chews. Door Dash said that this has never happened before. They would go back to get the missed item. An hour later, no one came back so I called Petco Phillipsburg NJ. Josh answered, he said they were shorted so they didn't have it for me. Not to worry, the system will refund me in a day or two. I haven't received the refund yet. I also think it might have been better for him to tell Door Dash about it so they could have let me know. Even a small note would have been appreciated.

We bought frozen mice yesterday 1 11 2022. The frozen mice fell apart upon thawing and was rotten. We took pictures went back today and they refused to refund or give the same product, which is what we wanted. We needed mice, so we had to buy the same thing again. I have the receipt. The store worker said no refunds offered.

To the person below me, any time you return an item using your credit or debit card, it takes your bank 3-5 business days to process. This is a normal process. Do not complain about a company withholding your money if you have proof of your return when it is YOUR BANK that holds it until it gets deposited

So many problems with petco and returns. I ordered a fence online about two or three weeks ago. It wasn't as tall as I thought it would be. I went yesterday and returned it, in store. They never even asked me why I was returning. No I'd just showed them my email on my phone, he asked me to swipe any card to credit the refund on I slid my card and that was it. Now as of today I haven't gotten money deposited into my account but that was just one day ago. So, not sure why so many give such problems.

Poor service on returns. Not so easy as advertised. I had purchased items during peak of COVID and tried to immediately return and was told we could not because of the pandemic. Then in the summer and fall, again the notice was not yet. I tried today and was told too late... now pasted the 60 day window. Customer service on phone was not able to resolve the matter and just said my computer won't allow me to do it. So I respectfully asked for his boss who may have better luck with how to deal with an easy return gone rouge

Ordered some vitamins to make my sugar glider's food before I collect him up this Friday. I literally typed in my current address, and paid with PayPal, AGAIN selecting my current address. I haven't been to Petco in years because they just don't carry much that I need anymore, so I haven't updated my info on the site since 2016 or so.

Lo and behold, they completely ignore my request twice on where it should be delivered, and sent it to the wrong place. I contacted support FIVE times. Each time I was told they cannot change the address, and assured me the driver would text me to let me know they were on their way.

Never got a text. In fact, I didn't even get an emailed receipt from Petco despite arguing with one of their support staff that I should have and was told it was because I wasn't subscribed to their mailing lists. 1. I was. 2. Their mailing list literally says in fine print underneath it that I'd still receive purchase related emails even if I wasn't subscribed.

Now it's been delivered to the wrong place, and I have no real proof of such, so they're refusing to refund me. :/ Now I have to go through PayPal. Absolutely ridiculous, man.

I spoke with Petco because Of the same reason not being able to return and expensive product they said starting February 1, 2021 they are excepting returns again because of the feedback about not excepting returns so hold onto them for another couple days and you'll be able to return it

PetCo is not ashamed of NOT notifying their customers of their ridiculous return policy during covid. I recently got a puppy and got a harness that was way too big for him and refrigerated food just for dogs that he can't eat. It was a $50 harness and over $40 worth of Just food for dogs, and Petco has the audacity to say I can't return it (even if it is new and the food is untouched and unopened) because of Covid?

We have all this technology abd ways of communication. Emails, apps, phones, smartwatches, endless ads, and yet Petco couldn't muster up enough courage and cowardly and shamelessly shrugs off their customers without ANY form of update?

Not even so much of a FRONT DOOR CUSTOMER SIGN TO WARN CUSTOMERS of their lack of communication or appreciation to their patrons.
INEXCUSABLE LAZINESS!!!!

I too am fed up with PetCo. I ought a bag of cat food my cats won't eat. I specifically looked online to see if I could exchange it and they said "no" due to COVID, even though the website had not been updated. It is ridiculous anyway, considering all the items in the store that are touched multiple times. If they are that worried about COVID, they should not be open at all. I now have a bag of food that I have no idea when I will be able to return. I did report them to the Better Business Bureau and will not shop there anymore. My business will go to Petsmart

Do to covid Petco started in January not taking returns . I spent over $50.00 on supplies for my new puppy. The leash and harness are not fitting my puppy pug correctly. They said I can get a credit when PETCO decides to take back returns. This should be clear when checking out.

I'd avoid using Petco. I bought my first puppy..picked up a large crate and TOLD the associate I really needed a medium but would grab this 'just in case' since i needed it the following day to pick up the pup. We found a medium and tried to return the unopened box for this $99 item and they wont take it due to Covid? You can't lysol wipe the outside of the box? Seems like a bad approach even at this time and unwise as well, because I live a mere mile from the store and thats what.....12-15 years of treats, food, and toys they won't get. The NO RETURNS should be the bold letters, not the 100% EASY RETURNS then buried midway down the covid 19 exception language. bad form

We are all in this together. So I do understand a sales associate'a concern when he told me he doesn't accept returns on "dry goods." I find logic and some sense in his words because of this Covid19 crisis we are having. What I find confusing is his willingness to accept returns on dry kibble dog food and yet he refuses returns on dry new aquarium accessories. And the two items are clearly within the 60 days returns/refund period. His words that my returns will be honored once this apparent concern of Petco is alleviated isn't very reassuring since his words aren't in writing on any authorized paperwork. Adding that this non acceptance period of dry returns is indefinite, only added my own concern of no confidence. In short, is this Petco sales associate's words a new Petco stores' policy?

I purchased an expensive play yard for my mini yorkie. I didn't receive a receipt when I checked out due to some problem at the register. I returned the item because my baby could get her head through the gaps. They said I couldn't receive a refund because I didn't have a receipt!!! I had to take store credit. Once that's spent I AM DONE!!

They are a complete scam. They charged me a restock fee to return 3 items that were still in good condition (resell-able). One item was a bed, priced $15.96 in the bin and they charged me $29.99 for it. Then when I returned it, they only gave me $18.11. Receipt said restock fee. Nowhere on the receipt does it mention a restock fee and actually states 100% satisfaction or your money back. They did they same with a dog toy and dog treats that were not opened. Will never shop at Petco again!!! I will be going back in to dispute this issue, so we will see!

Horrible! Horrible! They canceled the script for my dog without telling me...even after they called my vet and had the renewal on file. I was so boiling mad. Trying to reason with someone with the mindset of a 2 y/o is frustrating! I will never order from them again. Drs Foster & Smith was a reputable company, these Petco people are the pits!

Can I return dog shoes? They fit fine but the straps broke for 2 of them could I return the set for another or would they not let me? The straps broke off but they way they snapped is weird and looks almost chewed. I know it's not chewed cause I put them on and the strap broke in my hand but would that effect me trying to return for a new set?

bought a fluval aquarium vacuum. Got home found one on Amazon for only $15 instead of $60! Returned it very next day, I was told the money will be in the form of store credit. Pissed off, I said nothing thinking it was their stupid policy. It's now 2 weeks later and Petco.com has nothing I need for my reef tank. I havn't touched the credit so it better not be an issue to still re-credit the money to my credit card. What a slimeball way to train your employee's to deal with returns and still fcking keep the money as if it's theirs. Also wtf is up with literally standing at the fish tanks waiting for someone to ask if they can help you, busy and when not? I've stood at the tanks with 3 other customers all getting there within minutes of each other. From the time it took choose what I wanted and left the store, 1 hour 30 minutes. We're all standing there saying this is ridiculous. Everyone went to get someone and every person said they'll tell someone. Only certain people are allowed to remove fish and bag them. I know it would be 10Xs faster if I did it all myself but of course then I have every employee saying something telling on me for opening the slide up door panels to access the fish tanks. I already feel like they're totally annoyed seeing me come in...I want my money back, who the hell are you to not give me the option to choose store credit or return it to my card? No doubt, it'll be a pain in the ass when I go get refunded, I don't know where the recipient went. But that's not my problem. Find the date and everything yourself using my credit card number only. I will deff recognize the original cashier and let her know what's up. (rt. 33)

My comment is similar to others on here but I spent $50 on a heavy duty harness for my German shepherd and no matter how I adjusted it, it kept slipping off and to the side. I tried readjusting for 2 days because I really wanted it to work. I live 30 minutes from the store I bought from so a week and a half later I drove there to return it to the same store I purchased. Manager was very rude and condescending. Refused an exchange. I didn't even want my money back, just exchange for a smaller size. Spent an hour and a half on the phone with their main office because this seemed very unfair to me (I had lost the receipt). Lady on the phone gave me her email and asked me to send photos of the harness and said she would call me back in 30-90 minutes. Never got a phone call but I'm not really surprised. I feel like I've been scammed. I will Never go to petco again. Businesses like petco won't last.

Just tried to return a dog collar that I bought online, I had the receipt with me that came with the package. Manager refused to refund with the original payment method as he said I needed a Petco loyalty card #. I have never had one. He said you can't order online without one. I don't think so! So here I have a gift card to a store I don't want to shop at anymore. I usually shop at Petsmart and will continue to do so after this, which I told the manager. Often times (which is the case at petsmart for sure) you can look up receipts by your membership card and have them print it out. Also many stores can look up an item by your credit card. Often times you will be able to get store credit without the receipt as well, as long as you talk to a manger.

SERIOUSLY?!? I just am looking for an answer. I've googled and looked all over the stinking web for a simple answer to my question!!! I bought 1 goldfish, 4 days later.... dead. I wanted to know if they guaranteed their fish... answer YES... great.....NOW...i have receipt, do I need have dead fish in order to get refund/exchange..... my GOODNESS. I have had a pretty bad experience with petco customer service. I had ordered online and the order never reached me. Calling them on thier helpline number takes hours to get through and when I got through, one of the customer care person hung up the call after listening to my issue. Now I am trying to follow up with them for my refund, to which they said I would receive a mail on my refund processing that I haven't received since last 2 days.I will give them a benefit of doubt and wait for another 5 days, to wait for the refund, in case it directly comes in my account else would have no choice but to again waste my time calling customer care service.

I have prescription food on repeat delivery. My dog's vet changed the prescription food to another type within the same brand due to allergies. When I called to ask about returning the 2 unopened bags, I am told they must be shipped back to New Jersey, not in the store. I'm fine with that, but I am NOT okay with Petco making me pay for the shipping cost of 2 bags of 17.6 lbs of food. It is going to cost over $100 to ship them back to New Jersey and I paid $113 for them! This is absolutely frustrating!! I will not be making future prescription dog food purchases with Petco.

I bought dog shoes for my dog at a local store and was not able to get them on my dog's feet. Since I had business on the other side of town I decided to return them to the store over their versus the store I bought them at. The manager in the store refused to return them because the receipt I was given at the original store did not have the PetCo logo on the back. I asked if he could contact the store to confirm the purchase and he refused. Since I frequently (or used to) shop their all the time I asked if I could just get a store credit so I did not have to go out of my way to return at the original store and the manager still refused. Although my receipt looked just like all the other numerous receipts I had received just without the back print he still said my receipt looked like a "liquor store receipt". I angrily left the register and walked around the store while I phoned the original store to see if they could help. When I returned to the register to confirm his name he explained that he was on the phone talking to them to see why they are using the wrong register tape...REALLY he refused to call for the benefit of the customer but willing to call to chew out his counter part who he admittedly said was a new manager (so much for team work). After leaving the store and walking to the Petsmart in the same shopping center to buy the things I needed I decided it best to go home and gather the bags of items I purchased at that PetCo location and return them. When I returned with my items I asked the manager why this policy is not posted so unknowing customers could question a non-conforming receipt at the time of purchase and in his demeaning tone he explained that I should never receive a receipt like that...but wait I did and now I am penalized for something I had no knowledge of. In my opinion the new manager in the Lakewood, CA store (Mark) made an honest mistake while the manager in there Cerritos, CA store (Tim) feel short of the the PetCo code of ethics listed on their website. Tim could have accepted my return and contacted the new manager Mark to inform him of his error so that he could correct it versus penalizing the customer. From now on I will only give my business to Petsmart.

Can i return water filters? I bought one today, and I put it into our tank but there is no way for the cord to leave the tank without the tank having no lid.. this is very inconvenient and I would be devasted if i had to buy a new 200$ tank because of a filter issue

Interesting to see all the negative comments regarding the return policy when the policy is visible & accessible with every purchase. Instead of fighting and complaining about a policy you were more than likely aware of, just order a copy of the receipt, then return your items. The stores are not independently owned and operated, so they have to follow the corporate rules and guidelines. Notice they scan the receipts when you return something.. guessing this is the way the system works and probably is a safeguard from being scammed. Plus I imagine they need to draw the line somewhere as they take almost everything back with a receipt.. half eaten, broken, or whatever. They do a lot of good in communities so throwing a fit and disowning them for protecting themselves from potential fraud because you lost your lost receipt seems a bit overboard, no?

Bought a harness for my dog, which broke several days later. I attempted to return the item to Petcio for an exchange. I was told no due to not having a receipt. Who keeps extra clutter -like receipts anymore? This is a ridiculous policy in 2018. I simply wanted an exchange- not my money back. I will drive an extra 5 miles and give my business to someone else before I spend another dime in Petco.

What a ridiculous experience, I love to spoil my dog I shop at Petco often. I purchased a harness ( Petco brand, Bond Co. ) for my pup and realized it was to small. I went to exchange this harness for a larger size and was told I needed a receipt or I couldn't even do that. Of course I could not locate the receipt. What a questionable policy. I will not be shopping with Petco anymore. PetSmart has always been very helpful in all my pet care needs. Unrelated, anyone need a free harness? It's all yours.

Returned $60 worth. Two items. I was able to find them much cheaper else where. I needed it in my account for the new items to be paid. It has yet to load back on my debit card. It's usually instant when I return with my debit card. Any suggestions?

So I purchased a hamster last week from petco only for it to have a contagious disease called wet tail which is a very horrible way for a hamster to die and the hamster died within maybe 2 days of me having it a week later (still within the 30 day gaurantee) we went back to get a refund because didnt want to support a store that carries sick animals, and they wouldn't refund us unless we brought the lifeless body of my deceased pet into the store, in which I had already buried the body. I understand this is most likely a store policy but seriously that's just sick to make a child lugg her dead animal back into the store for a refund.

I bought a heater at Petco about a week ago. I wanted to put this heater in my fish tank, it worked alright for 4 days. Now it doesn't heat up my tank and the water tempature in my fish tank has dropped! I still have my receipt but, I don't have the plastic packaging that came with it. Will I still be able to return it?

We had just purchased litter, food, treats and hay 58.00. OUr rabbit passed away 2 days later expectantly. We have been going there for 3 years spending 50-100.00+ dollars per month. In the past they could look up the receipt, and I had misplaced the receipt. When I tried to explain and return all unopened, in original packaging items, I was refused and said I could get a gift card. For what???? my rabbit died, and I am not replacing him. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS store!! HORRIBLE policy!! And they knew us :(

I bought a harness for my female chihuahua. It did not fit or could be adjusted to fit. She slipped out of it. Store at 646 & I45 South refused refund due to new store policy. Store credit was refused as well. I did not have a receipt. However, I spend $50-$150 per month in that store. Will not be returning.

I purchased a spray that would get the smell of cat pee out of my room as my cats were spraying to mark their territory. When I purchased this item I was told it was almost like "holy water" after a few days the smell still wasn't coming out, in fact it was getting worse. so I returned it. It has been a week since the return but the money is still not reflecting in my account. How long will I have to wait to receive my 20+ dollar return for that god awful spray?!

I bought a Cat Tree for my cat about a week ago. He is scared of it. He has in on top of it once because i put him on it but he jumped right off and ran under the bed. I guess he thinks its a human. I don't have the recipe but I do have the date of when i bought it.

I had just bought a ferreton 12/13 for my other one that was just given to me 2 weeks or so before that and my one that i bought died today. He had been shivering like he was cold even though it was warm for the past couple of days and i turns out ferrets have developed a genetic mutation the makes tumors grow on the pancreas and that causes theyre blood sugar to go up intensely or drop intensely well my ferret ended up having seizures right on my counter until her finally passed away. Not only am i extremely dissapointed that i now have a dead ferret but so is my other one because now he doesnt have a friend.im also extremely dissapointed in petco for not actually inpexting theyre animals for any problems that may exist before the animal is sold also im extremely upset that i just spent $100 on a ferret that i didnt even have for a month.

I bought a parakeet 3-4 days ago at a petco and I was just taking off the cover for night time sleeping and then my bird was just laying down on the bottom of the cage with both eyes closed and the feed looked like they were crossed so I started getting worried and wasn't sure if it was dead or sick but I read the guarantee on the paper when we got when we bought him and it didn't say anything about dieing and exchanges so I'm not sure what to do

I order dog steps for my older dog. He would not go near them, so I want to send them back, but for online orders, the return of product would be up to me to pay for the shipping. I fell like this is not right. Most online stores always have free return. I will not order again from Petco as I live in a area that is miles away from any retail stores, and online shopping is the only way we buy.

Attempted to return for refund a retractable leash that was defective 10 days after purchase. The manager at the Sugar Land, Tx, store in Highway 6 around 5 pm told me I would have to return it to the store of purchase because that is PETCO's new policy. When I asked to see the policy in writing, he relented and allowed me to get the refund. Is this actually the policy of a nationwide chain? I didn't see that anywhere in the return policy I found online.

I bought a wood jungle that was $20 returned it because there was already enough stuff in the habitat. With the tag still on, never been used, had it for a total of two days and it stayed in the platic bag I bought it in the whole time, took it back, still had the receipt and only got $4.65 back. Didn't bother to give me a reason why. Probabaly won't be buying from them again.

If i purchase 2 ferrets but one is acting out biting the other one n my kids can i return it i really dnt wanna keep an animal that misbehaves or buy 2 separate cages or keep him locked up cuz he bites hard is that possible its been under 45 days but i do not have the box it came in but i do have the paper work

I recently placed an order on petco.com (dec. 17th to be exact). My order was supposed to be shipped into 4 different shipments. I received three of the four shipments however the largest one in the amount of $97 was never received. This order included food and treats and other necessary items I needed for the puppy my husband was getting me for Christmas. Besides having to purchase items at another store I called customer service who agreed to give me my money back and once again I have not received it. This is the worse experience ever. I have now paid $97 dollars for absolutely nothing!!! What is wrong with this place?!?! They even looked up my order and know it was never even received at the shipping company and the lost package is their fault. I would really appreciate any suggestions of what the next step to take is in either getting my refund or getting the products that I ordered and paid for in the first place.

I recently called to order a single bag of Merrick dog food because it was $20 less than the store cost with free shipping at $49.99. I was told by the woman who took my order I'd receive a receipt via email confirming my order, and a tracking number.

2 days later I received an overdraft notice for $70 from my bank for 2 sepatare charges by Petco totalling $130. I'd been charged an additional $80 by Petco for an order I didn't make or authorize that put my account into overdraft. In addition to the single bag if Merrick dog food I asked for, they'd created a separate order I knew nothing about and signed me up and charged me for automatic delivery for 2 bags of Science Diet per month. I've never purchased Science Diet and didn't this time either bit I was signed up for a service and product I didn't authorize by Petco and charged without my knowledge or consent...plus overdraft fees on the order I didn't make or authorize charges for!

I called the bank to stop payment and they set up a conference call. Petco insisted that I'd been notified my email, the items had been already been shipped and I would need to go into "my account" print off the charges and return the items to one of their stores to get a refund.

So I found an email buried amongst their numerous promotions entitled "your order has been shipped!" It contained a link to verify my order and tracking info but when I clicked on the link there were NO records of any purchases or shipping info!

I've received no product from Petco for either of the orders, but I'm being charged $200 for items I've not received, theres no record of, and all but $50 was without my knowledge or consent...plus they over drew my account with those unauthorized charges and incurred bank fees on items I didn't authorize just before Christmas.

No authoruzation. No product. No record except the deductions from my bank account.

That's called FRAUD and THEFT.

Statistically less than 6% of people who are ripped off report it. Big corporations know that and they have all sorts of protective loopholes to protect themselves because of 'trade agreements' as they send jobs overseas, raise prices and give us less and less.

Our calls for orders and customer support go to other countries who live by different laws and there are none to hold them accountable and Petco is paying them to give us terrible service and charge us for things we didn't order or even know about because they know they can get away with it.

If I'd reviewed these complaints before shopping at Petco I'd never have given them any of my business over the last 15 years and they won't be getting any more from me, my family, or friends and hopefully the rest who posted here and the other 93% who haven't will do the same.

Petco only cares about profits and it's very clear to me based on my experience they'll do anything, including committing fraud to get my money so I'm not giving them another opportunity. They've lost a 15 year customer and my family and friends.

I'm telling everyone I know about this and the other in responded to complaints.

When things get this corrupt and the only thing they care about us the money, the only way to get our message across is to boycott.

Moneys the only language they understand so Ive discontinued my card at the bank so they cant charge me for any more unauthorized purchases and I'm repeating this complaint on other websites.

I am making a return today of a brush my dog hates. The girl was so nice when I bought and told me how to return after reading all these I am terrified to even attempt. I cannot stand that long so lets hope all your comments are not how Kokomo IN store will be.

Took 2 Akita to a Petco vet. I was abhorred by the treatment given to them. 10 yr. Old males legs were yanked repeat and poked with needle several times while trying to draw blood. Laid hI'm down on floor sideways then picked him up by legs and tried to put him on scale with hI'm desperately fighting to get away
Female was poked several times with needle also. 2 heartworm tests given & paid for
No results given nor any preventitive. Contacted Petco. Will do nothing
If value your dog's do not take Petco vets Vet could not speak word of English either
Not understand word he said. Stay away from all Detroit Mich Petcos. Especially 9 & Gratiot area East Pointe. Cruelty to animals and definitely crooks. Don't waste your money.

Do not buy conceptual creations hideaways from Petco. I ordered 8 hides for my snake colony. 5 were made with a tan,porous material similar to ceramic. Evidently Ace Ventura both packed and delivered the box. ALL 5 arrived in pieces, settled through the ineffectual air bags. The 3 resin hides survived but were chipped and scraped. Actually, the material is inappropriate for hides anyway, as the porousity (?) would hold the stench as soon as a snake shats upon it. Items.photos available upon request!

unreal. first I wanted to buy a fish but was given a test of 20 questions, like what size tank do you have?, then when I said I wanted the black molley she wanted to know what in my tank already, really silly. I returned a heater for 12.99 plus tax and exchanged it for a 19.99, he only refunded me 12.99, wait, what happen to the tax? he said I don't get tax back. I will speak to the manager on Monday morning about these things, no I didn't get a fish, she said we care about our fish, really you think I want to buy a fish and don't have the proper place to keep it. this store is on n.western ave in Chicago.unreal.

Actually if you were involved in the hobby for any amount off time you would no there is no refund policy anywhere for saltwater fish.. Maybe people should do research into the hobby before they buy anything

To Whom It Concerns; I Visited Store #1572,in Hattiesburg,ms,and Bought 3 Saltwater Fish. When I Payed For The Fish The Green-chromis Was On His Side,the Cashier Said He Was Still Breathing Just In Shock. If He Didn't Make It I Could Bring Him Back.before I Returned To My House I Looked At The Fish To See If He Had Revived.instead I Noticed That The Chromis And The Ocellaris-clown Fish Were Both Upside Down And Not Breathing.
So I Returned To Petco For A Refund Or Exchange.took About 11/2 Hours Between Sale And Return,never Opened The Bag Nor Made It Home With Them. The Cashier Informed Me That Had A "no Refund Policy" On My Fish.said Once I Walked Out The Door They Were Mine And Couldn't Return The Fish.needless To Say, The Employe That Sold Them To Me Had Left Four The Day. They Said They Would Try To Call Him But Didn't Know If They Could Get In Touch With Him.she Came Back And Told Me They Would Refund The Green-chromis,but That Was The Only One.
It Kind Of Ticked Off For Having Buying Dead Fish.they Had No Signs Nor Informed Any Body About A "no Return Policy". I Could Under Stand If I Had Placed The In My Tank,but That Didn't Happen.
I Have Ordered Fish From Mail,other Stores And Have Never Had This Problem. Probably Would Not Recommend Petco For Any Aquatic Wildlife.

My order arrived in good condition. However, I was disappointed by the slow shipping. I ordered 2-day shipping, placed my order Friday night, and expected to receive it on Tuesday, expecting it to arrive after two business days, or even better, Monday if they shipped it Saturday. It arrived on Wednesday, and I no longer needed the item. I was also not refunded shipping when I had to return the item.

I was so very diapointed The order was all a mess:
One of the items was liquid which had spilled on everything
especially on the directions
Also I did not receive all the items I ordered
Parts were missing
A VERY SLOPPY JOB ALL IN ALL THIS PACKAGE ARRIVED DAMAGED
Have you gotten so big you dont care anymore?

I am a homebound person and unable to go out to a store
It made me very frustrated not to receive my order but also
know I have to wait for a refund and start all over again!!!!

What is their policy on no recipt returns? I got a bunch of stuff for xmas that i dont need or want but of course they didnt give me a recipt so what? Am i stuck with it or can i return it? Do i need id or no? And WHAT items can and cant you return without a recipt it possible?

I ordered cat liter and when it was delivered it had holes in it. The cat liter was pouring out of it. This was 50 pounds of cat liter. At least a quarter of the liter was gone. Do you think I'm going to return 59 lbs. of cat liter? Why do you think I had it delivered? I can not carry 50 lbs. so how do you think I can return it? I will never order another thing from Petco. It's a waste of money. Very disappointed customer.

I have to go out of my way to get a refund for a large size critter keeper that was shipped to me by mail. It came to me completely smashed up. It's no wonder since it is very fragile and was stuck in a box with no padding!! (It is thin plastic) What's wrong with the people in the shipping department? It's only common sense to pad a fragile item. They are costing Petco money and possibly customers too.

I was very pleased with how fast my order came in but very disappointed the your return and exchange policy, I don't have a printer ,I went to your store by my house just to exchange one of the items I bought for my dogs the cashier was very rude and the manager wasn't much nicer after about 10 minutes he finally said just let her exchange it this time only. Then the cashier proceeded to tell me to go to walmart and I can buy a printer for around $35.00 very rude. I need to exchange the other harness but I don't want to deal with your employees again.

I no longer have papers in box that came with the house which is supposed to be an anti barking item. I only have credit card info where it was charged.

The house has not worked. The neighbor's dog stands right in front of it and barks. It buzzes in my ears, so I know the battery is good. I have given it enough time to see if it would work. I have moved it to various locations.

Went to local Petco store to ask how to get it to work. The clerk's comment was that they do not work.

How can I get my money back. No receipt was sent to me on line.

I was under the impression that I would get the Online price of the Litter Genie I purchased at your store that's close to where I live. I filled out a Pals Rewards application online. I accepted it in the email I got. I assumed I was already a Pals Rewards member and the price I got off of your website was the price I saved $17.99......

I got to the checkstand and my name wasn't in the system. I filled out a card there and was then "in the system.(?) I thought you honored the online price....I hope you do.....but apparently my online aplication

I also took an ad from Sunday's paper that said first time members get $5 off. I was busy putting the tab on my keychain and it was bagged and card accepted. I got $5 off, but didn't notice until I got home and unstapled the receipt. I was charged $22.99....not the online price of $17.99-$5.00=$12.99 WHICH IS WHY I caved in and bought one! All the stores in a building honor the online price+the coupon. What's up?

I have just reciently had the best CS experience with Petco. At first I bought a Midwest Series XX-Large Dog crate.... CS. They have come to the conclusion to give me a partial refund, pick up the first item and call it a day. Because of all my troubles I am getting the crate originally $220.00 for quite a bit less. Your store in Southaven, MS will not honor its 15 day fresh fish return policy. Its fish are obviously very unhealthy and of the 14 fish I have purchased there, 5 have... them.
