June 10, 2020 I purchased a pair of Wrangler jeans at the Wanamaker outlet in Topeka, Kansas. the jeans were washed by machine that very day. Upon removal from the dryer, at normal heat, there was a seam that came apart on the pant leg. I returned the item to the store where purchased and was told their policy would not allow me to return the item because of the COVID issue. They could not refund the item until this policy is no longer in effect. There is no notification that I could find in the clothing department or anywhere else for that matter. Could someone give me some reasoning for this nonsense?
