Re: Walmart's revise return or exchange policy, received by store manager this morning, but fails to post the store to inform its customers of this consumer protection claws required by California Department of Consumer affairs.

I return to Walmart to exchange an item that I purchased last night or get a refund that I have the receipt that I use cash for this purchase.
I was told by the manager at the Atwater California Walmart store, is that a new policy came into effect this morning on April 5th 2020, I purchased before this policy came into effect and feel since they have failed to inform the consumer of this temporary revised policy since the information was by the Corporate office received by telephone, at the store opening on the first shift.

Last evening on,April, 4th 2020, prior to this new policy that is not posted at the store entrances or posted at any of the check out stands,
While looking for a replacement Brother Laser cartridge that was the incorrect unit and they didn't have on the shelf.
I was told at the customer service merchandise return check out, told me that they were not doing any returns or replacement swap outs because of the virus that is gripping this nation, Covid-19. That was not posted of this newly updated return or exchange policy.

I do not believe they were being honest with me, since it was towards the store closing within 45 minutes, that they made this policy up, because I went to the Walmart corporate website looking at the return policy or exchange and this information was not there, as I was told that I would find it posted on the corporate website www.walmart.com.

I'm not going to be out $89 waiting for the Coronavirus to find a vaccine and it cure before the return policy goes back into effect to where I can return it but find out it took 18 months to come up with a virus cure and be outside the return window policy,
This is is straight BS, and bad practices, being displayed at Walmart here in Atwater, CA.

They claim health and safety all right items returning from the community back on the store shelves increase a liability for the company and this is why they are not doing such returns or exchanges. Until a cure for the virus for a corporate decision give them the answer to when they can we start this backup.

But I feel like the consumer they have violated the California consumer rights laws that mandates them to inform their customers of such policies.

I request Walmart or whoever This concerns to get a hold of me because I need my money or the right cartridge for my printer.

Or I will file a complaint with the consumer protection under misleading and false advertisement.

Sincerely,

Steven Troie seeking answers
