I called and was told I could return my Rug Doctor deep cleaning carpet shampooer to my local store. A gift from my mother it was bought out of town at her local store. She paid over 200$ for the machine.<br /> When I took it up to my stores service desk I explained it didn't seem to collect much for the amount going into the floor and I'd like to get something else. I told them I did not have my receipt. They said fine at first.<br /> After scanning the machine they said no no no it's 154.00 and sorry but not without a receipt. I told them I called about it plus it was 260.00 2 mo the ago when my mom paid for it.<br /> She said go get a shampooed for 154.00 or nothing.<br /> I picked out a shampooed for 188.00 on sale for 169.00. I know I was given a shampooed and not cash as a gift. My mom I tended on spending that money on me. For me to pay more and be out 100.$ of her dollars is a crime. I was treated so rude like I found it on the street. I had all the packaging, you could tell it was new. They would not give me a gift card and wait till the same machine wad in stock. I have no receipt for this new one or even for the 16 dollars I paid extra. <br /> Happy to help right. happy to embarrass me. They talked about me to other custom.ers like I was lying about the price . I had 4 employees <br /> trying to find the rug doctor in the back. just the open display priced 299$ was left. because I was so embarrassed I cried. Target and Kroger will be a choice it's you g to hurt awhile that embarrassing day.
