Purchased a cot on Sunday, assembled it on Monday am, soon realised the wood used could potentially creat splinters. Went the next day to return it without dismantling it. Ikea refused to give me a full refund. I tried to talk to the customer service asking for the full refund. My request was also rejected. <br /> Please be very careful with Ikea's return policy as it is very vague and the claim of 365 days seems very attractive but unfortunately the minute you open the package you have very little rights if any at all even when the item doesn't meet the minimum requirement such as safety.
