I purchased a smart talk phone from Walmart with a SIM card pre-installed. The phone was unable to activate and after many hours on tech support it was discovered that the serial number on my phone did not match the serial number on the box but the SIM card was correct.

I was told to go to Walmart to ask for return or an exchange and I was refused because the serial numbers did not match and I explained to them the situation that I bought it like this. I was told to go to straight talk. They also refused any sort of help.

I'm out the money for the phone and I was accused of stealing or switching a phone by a Walmart employee.

This is just the most recent failure by Walmart. Another issue I have noticed several times is having items stated available in store when in fact they are not but a similar item at a higher price is available. when employee is shown that is in stock they generally say they've never heard of that item and suggest I order it online.
