A lot of comments here are from people who don't understand how the CVS policies work. I know some are legitimate and frustrating but you all have to understand that scammers do exist. If you return without a receipt, they're going to give you the lowest possible amount back ion credit. If you return without a receipt, you have to use your ID. Even though extra care exists, we can't track purchase made in store with it. These are things we cannot control and don't deserve to be yelled at and bashed for it. Not to mention difficult customers in general. For example, I have a lady that comes to my store frequently to return items that have been used and have already served its purpose to her. Or she claims something is wrong with it and she wants to exchange it. She has a receipt for a particular exchange. HOWEVER, once a return is completed, the same item on that receipt it no longer returnable and the system will deny it saying "No more items left to refund, Refund not allowed." That's what happened here and she got upset and said our customer service is bad. Fortunately for me, I am a supervisor and had the authority to deny her return regardless of how much she argued with me and complained. It is not ideal for most but certain policies are put in place by the higher ups that we HAVE to follow. I personally am working my own way through school and I can't afford to lose my job for bending a few rules so customers can sleep better at night. Just next time you all complain, consider how it affects the worker and stop being so selfish in thinking that the customer is always right because I guarantee you, you're not.
