I went to exchange a tent I purchased at Walmart. I did not have receipt but I purchased it within 3 weeks of my return. Was still in the package. Customer Service Associate told me she could not return it without a receipt because it was more than $25.00. So, we decided to purchase the two sleeping bags we were going to exchange for the tent, and before I left I spoke to a manager and she told me that "store policy" is different than the exchange policy that is listed on the Walmart website. Which, this makes zero sense. But, she said the associate was wrong because we can exchange items over $25.00 for something else without a receipt. We had to return wait in the customer service line for another 30 minutes, return the sleeping bags we just purchased, and then do the exchange for the tent all over again. Honestly, the worst experience. I'll go to target from now on.
