Bought 3 dresses online - fit wasn't great so took them back WITH receipts to a local store. Return went smoothly with cashier telling me the refund will be made directly to the card I paid with.<br /> Fast forward 24 hours - no sign of refund. Called OldNavy.ca customer service and was told "it will take 3-5 business days, and that information is clearly printed on the receipt". Well no, not printed on either the original online receipt, nor the store receipt. "Well the staff should have told you that". Okay, but they didn't. And to add insult to injury, business days do not include Saturdays or Sundays, because even though Old Navy is doing a brisk business online and at their stories on those days, they are not 'business days'. <br /> Called the store directly, and requested information, also had staff there tell me that "it is clear on the receipt that refunds will be processed 48 to 74 hours after return" Well no, not printed anywhere. Finally talked to a great manager Sylvia who was very helpful and gracious on the phone. Why are questions now regarded as so problematic? Sometimes patrons just want good information, we are not being nasty or confrontational, we are simply looking for accurate information.
