So, my mom bought two pairs of shoes at the Marshall's at Chino. Ca, store. I wanted to return a $60 dollar bluetooth speaker that did not perform well at a different store in Upland, Ca since I love shopping there. The cashier promptly refunded me in cash with no issues and did not even open to check the box. Well, I overheard the cashier helping my mom and it was ridiculous! This young cashier clerk apparently had no brain of her own and asked the cashier next to her if it was fine to return. I heard the other cashier say, yes if it has tags attached and a receipt, which my mom had for both. Then on the 2nd pair of shoes to return, the cashier asked if the other pair could also be returned? THEY ALSO HAD TAGS ATTACHED AND NEVER WERE WORN. WHAT??? I am glad my mom is more patient or I would have blown that cashier to the ground. They gave her back the money but told my mom to avoid shopping at places that act incredibly silly on a purchase less than $40 dollars??? I hope Marshall's can train their new employees better and if they are not new, fire the boneheads who waste people's time and scrutinize returns were there should not be any to begin with.
