I purchased 2 items. I returned those 2 items but ended up doing an exchange. Walgreens actually owed me .01. Lucky me. I got that on a gift card. Ok. So I have the receipt from original purchase. I have the new return/exchange receipt as well. I go in to return 1 of the new items I got from the exchange. Still within 30 days. Item is perfect. Both receipts. The MANAGER told me she couldn't refund me or even give me store credit because "YOU DIDNT PAY FOR IT MA'M...YOU DID AN EXCHANGE!" I couldn't even get mad because I was just laughing at how ridiculous this "Manager" was and her reasoning. She would just get louder and louder tapping her Long chipped nail on my receipt like that would make me realize she was correct and I had used my pretend money. I asked for my 2 receipts and item back. She cocked her head and stared at me like I had an attitude problem as she held my item up and away at chest level in her hand like she wasn't even giving it back at that point. After firmly asking again. She just put it in my face and again Just stared at me. But I did learn one thing today...anyone can work at Walgreens and it obviously doesn't take much to be a manager.
