I would just like to know what is the exact policy about defective products. I read some stores refuse you or force you to buy a warranty or even try to get you to pay full price for a faulty item replacement. I had some faulty systems that were purchased and I want to make sure if they are defective that I can exchange the system at any GameStop store. Each store shouldn't have it's own policy when it clearly states that any defective product can be exchanged within 30 days. It doesn't mention a limit on exchanges of what can be exchanged. I called different stores and they all claim something different and one claimed I had to buy a warranty first to get an exchange. I don't understand how the policy can be used so loosely. I can understand that they want to protect the stores from abuse but it is not a customer fault when a product is faulty and defective. I shouldn't have to travel to different stores to get an exchange on a defective product.
