I tried to return a piece of cookware that I recieved as a gift from a family member across the country. On the packing slip it stated that I could return it for a refund but when I took it to the store, they told me I could only receive a store credit because I did not have the credit card that was used for the purchase. Of course I do not have the credit card as this was a gift and in any case, this would not apply if the purchase was made with cash. I do not want to tell the person that I am returning the gift and do not need to purchase anything at the moment. I have checked the above refund policy and it clearly states a refund is guaranteed, not a store credit-- although I can opt for a credit at my discretion. <br /> Please confirm that this is your policy so that I can take it to the store manager for my refund.
